Not everyone has a gym nearby or has the time and money to travel to one. With lots of local gyms charging more than the big chains, it’s dispiriting when you want to sign up.
Some even charge more if you want a flexible contract. Buying your own equipment removes many excuses for not exercising, and will eventually work out cheaper than a gym membership.
You can use your gym equipment before or after work, or on your lunch break. So, if the weather is bad, you don’t need to leave the house, and in winter, the dark nights can deter people who might go to the gym in the evening. Having your own equipment is more convenient.
Get Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep doesn’t always seem like a priority if you’re balancing running a business with trying to stay in shape. It does help though. Your body can function better to exercise, and your mind needs rest to function well enough to run a business.
It’s important to make sure you wind down at least an hour before going to bed, to get a good night’s sleep and to be ready for the next day.
Staying in shape isn’t just beneficial for health reasons, but it’s crucial for Digital Nomads who need to be at their best. Working remotely is hard work, and it helps to be in the best shape possible, both physically and mentally.
